Opening an XS account means completing the registration form, email confirmation, questionnaire and document upload, then receiving approval. With correct documents, the verification email usually arrives within 2 to 5 minutes.
3 conditions to check before opening an XS FX account
- Your own name only. You cannot open an account in someone else's name.
- Residents of restricted countries cannot open an account.
- You need an ID document and a proof of address. The proof of address must have been issued within the last 3 months (see the verification documents).

How to open an XS account: the 6 steps
- 01Start from 'Open account'
Open the XS official site through the link on this site and click 'Open account' at the top right. No additional-account code is used.
- 02Fill in the registration form
Enter your name, date of birth, nationality, country of residence, email address and phone number. Using the same spelling for your name and address as on your documents makes it less likely that verification stalls.
- 03Confirm your email address
Enter the confirmation code you receive. If it does not arrive, check your spam folder, mailbox capacity and domain filter.
- 04Answer the application form (questionnaire)
Answer the questions about your trading experience and finances. They are used to assess suitability and to provide services that fit your experience and financial situation.
- 05Submit your ID documents
Upload your ID document (POI) and proof of address (POR). Prepare colour images of valid documents with all four edges visible.
- 06Wait for approval
If you submit the required documents correctly, the account verification email usually arrives within 2 to 5 minutes. You can also check the status in the profile section of the client area.
What to do after your XS account is approved
- Choose an account type. Start with Standard, or consider Cent if you want to trade in smaller units. Open it on MT5 if you want the bonuses.
- Completing identity verification makes you eligible for the ¥5,000 account opening bonus (for clients resident in Japan, JPY accounts). Check the conditions on the bonus page.
- Install MT4 or MT5 and log in with the trading account ID, password and server name issued in the client area (see the login guide).
